Process to Setup Office 365 SMTP Server Setting:
For this, first you have to go to the Server Manager and then you have to hit on the “Add Roles” option. Now, you have to open the “Add Roles” wizard page and then tap on “Next “option. After this, you just have to visit to the “Installation” Type page and then just click on the “Role-based” installation option. Here just you have to choose the option “Select a server from the server pool” which is on the “Select destination” server page. After this, you have to choose the server that has SMTP running services. Now you have to click on the “Next” option and then just go to the “Select Server Roles” page. Here you have to select the Web server and then hit on the “Next” button. Now from the “Select destination Role Services” page, just ensure that you have selected the Basic authentication. Then just tap on the Next option. After this, just select the “Install” option, which is on the Confirm Installation Steps page.
For this, you have to select the “Add Roles and Features” option from the Open Server Manager. Now you have to click on the “Server Selection” option. After this, you have to ensure that the server is running with the SMTP server. Now just visit to the “Select Features Screen” and then you have to select the SMTP server. Here you just have to choose “Add required features” option and then you have to click on the “Next” option. Then tap on the “Install” option. When the installation process finishes, you just have to begin the SMTP services.
For this, you have to choose the “Tools” option. Then you have to select the “IIS” option from the “Open Server Manager” tab. Now, you have to expand the current server and then just right-click on the “SMTP Virtual server”. After this, click on the “Properties” option. Then just go to the General tab and choose the “Advanced” option which is followed by the “Add” option. Now from the IP Address box, you just have to identify the server’s address which is hosting the SMTP server. Here you have to enter 587 in the port box and then hit on the “OK” button. After this, click on the ‘Access” option and for this you have to hit on “Authentication” to check the “Anonymous access” option is selected. Then click on “Connection” to identify the IP address and then choose “Relay” option to identify the IP address of the SMTP server. After this, just go to the “Delivery” tab and then you have to choose the “Outbound Security” option and select the Basic Authentication. After this, enter the credentials of the Office 365 and click on the “TLS” Encryption and then click on the “Outbound Connections”. Now in the TCP Port box, just enter 587 and then hit on “OK” option.
