Troubleshoot Microsoft Office Error Code 30174-11:

  1. SFC Scan: For this, first click on windows key and search for command prompt or cmd. Then right click on it and run the command prompt as administrator. It will ask for administrator password then click on password or click allow. Now command prompt window will open then type the command SFC /SCANNOW and hit enter.
  2. Disable Window Firewall and Antivirus: For this, click on start button and then just select control panel. Now, in search box, just type firewall and then click on windows Firewall. After this, click on Turn Windows firewall OFF or ON. Here click on Turn OFF Firewall.
    To disable Antivirus: First check for Antivirus icon which is located on right side of task bar. Then right click on the indication icon and then select Real Time scanning. Just click on Turn off in scanning option. And select Firewall and then click on Turn off in firewall menu.
  3. Rebuilt Office Registry Keys: First, Open registry Editor and just check for default values set in Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Common

    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\

    If default key is set as 1 or 0, then just delete the key and click Ok button.

    If default key is set as 1 or 0, then you have to delete the key and click Ok.
  4. Uninstall Office and Reinstall Office: First Open control panel and then just select programs and features. Now click on Microsoft Office and select Uninstall. After uninstallation, try to install Office suite again. For reinstalling, open Microsoft Office My Account and then Sign in to Office My Account. After this, click on Download and Install Office program and run the Office installer. Now do not close until you see “You’re good to go” All Set. This will complete installation process. Now you can check the error is fixed or not.
